This week, Senior Infants have been learning about Schools in the Past. As well as looking at photographs and listening to written stories from Irish schools in the 19th and 20th Century, we are lucky to be able to use original wooden desks for role play! These desks have holes for ink pots to use with fountain pens. We also used chalk to imagine what it was like to write with a slate and chalk. We had some very strict pretend teachers!
