4th Class had an amazing day representing our school at the ESB Science Blast in the RDS! 🎉

Our project, “Designing Prosthetic Legs for Everyday Tasks,” challenged each group to create and build a prosthetic leg that could be used in Scoil Chaitríona Baggot Street. Along the way, we learned so much about engineering, science, and teamwork, and we were thrilled to share our findings with the judges and visitors.

The judges were so impressed by our research, creativity, and problem-solving skills that we were awarded a Science Blast Trophy! 🏆✨ They asked lots of great questions about our investigation, and we loved explaining what we had discovered.

Of course, the day wasn’t all hard work! We got to enjoy two incredible science shows with Mark the Science Guy and The Science Crew, packed with explosive experiments and jaw-dropping demonstrations. We also explored other schools’ projects and even learned about exciting careers in STEM.

It was truly an unforgettable experience for 4th Class, and we can’t wait for more science adventures ahead! 🔬🚀💡

Well done to all our young scientists! 👏👏
