It’s a busy time of year in our lovely school so here is a guide to what is happening and when…

Thursday, 15th December, 9:00 am – 9:30 am – Afternoon Club Christmas Fair:

The fabulous girls and boys who are members of our Afternoon Club have been working hard to create decorations and edible treats. The proceeds raised will be put towards a charity and some sports equipment, both of which the children are hotly discussing…:-)

You are all invited to the halla straight after Morning Assembly – most items will be €1 (with some very lovely limited edition products for €5). If you can’t make it yourself, the children will all have a chance to have a browse and buy something if they see anything that takes their fancy if they have a euro or two.

The children who made the items will be working at the stalls and they hope to tempt as many possible buyers as possible. 🙂 Admission – as they say – is free so we hope to see you there! #baggotstreetapprentice

Tuesday, 20th December, 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm – Christmas Concert:

All children from Junior Infants to 6th class are practising like mad for this wonderful annual event. We look forward to welcoming our families and friends and we hope that you all enjoy the entertainment.

Please note: We are aiming to finish by Infant home-time. If your child is in 1st-6th class, you may collect him or her at that time. Just please wait for all children to return to their classrooms and everyone will be brought to the yard as soon as possible for collection. Older children who go home on their own may do so once you write a note to the class teacher.

Wednesday, 21st December – Fun in School Day:

The children from Admissions to 2nd class can expect a very special visitor while 3rd-6th class go into town for a Christmassy wander. Everyone will be ready to go home at the usual time.

Thursday, 22nd December – Day of the Holidays:

  • The Admissions Class Christmas Concert will take place at 11:30 am.
  • Our school closes at 12:00 pm sharp for the Christmas holidays.
  • Also, we are all having a No Uniform Day to help get us all into the swing of the holiday season! Christmas jumper/dresses/head-bands are more than welcome! 🙂

Monday, 9th January – Start of Term Two:

See you all bright and early for the first day of the school term! 🙂
